The S561 features a Meranti body with a bolt on Maple Wizard III neck and a 24-fret Rosewood fingerboard with offset white dot position markers. Components include Ibanez Quantum pickups with a humbucker at the bridge and single coils in the neck and middle positions, an F106 fixed bridge, a plastic nut and Ibanez die-cast tuning machines.
