Available as a 4 string model with a solid tonewood body, a bolt-on maple neck, 20 fret rosewood fingerboard inlaid with dot position markers, the V49 delivers tight, natural piano-like tones, with a fine balance of high, mid and low frequencies enhanced by a pair of Entwistle XJC single coil pickups. The pickups themselves have been specifically designed for the V49 by none other than the legendary British guitar builder and designer Alan Entwistle.
Tech heads may like to know that the Entwistle pickups feature quality ceramic magnets, are wound with high grade copper wire and dipped in high viscosity wax to isolate and protect the coils from moisture, whilst reducing microphonic feedback issues.
