The Griffin Flip takes the compact Griffin formula and quite literally turns it on its head.
With its flipped body and headstock, it has always been one of the more characterful guitars in the GS range.
 
For the 26/27 range, the Griffin Flip stays close to what worked before, mahogany neck, thin profile, 24.625″ scale, Tune-O-Matic bridge, Gotoh SD90 tuners, CTS loom and twin mini humbuckers.
The two finishes give it different personalities. Tobacco Burst keeps things warm and classic with a mahogany body, rosewood fingerboard and B/W/B scratchplate, while Austin Blue feels a little sharper with an Obeche body, ebony fingerboard and vintage pearl scratchplate.
