The GS1 Heritage is about as Gordon Smith as it gets. Stripped back, solid, direct and built around the sort of no-nonsense formula that made our original GS guitars so loved in the first place.
Built with a 44mm thick mahogany body, mahogany neck, thick profile and rosewood fingerboard, it has that familiar solid, punchy feel under the hand. The Gotoh wrapover bridge keeps things simple and resonant, while the single bridge humbucker gives you plenty of bite, body and sustain without anything getting in the way.
For the latest 26-27 stock range, the Heritage continues in Vintage Burst and Trans Cherry, with a gloss front and satin back and sides, but we’ve also added a new Natural Open Pore Satin option. This version leans fully into the “tone machine” side of things: no fuss, no heavy finish, just mahogany, a wrapover bridge and a humbucker doing what they do best.
It’s unapologetically GS.
